M50 - This one has been well-known for a long time and it was originally a complex of warehouses. After the renovation, M50 area has become the main art district of Shanghai. MOCA - Shanghai museum of Contemporary Art with a glass structure and represented you a feast of the contemporary art. Location of it is excellent since it is around by quiet trees and pond. Shanghai Gallery of Art - This one hosts different exhibition during several weeks - months with a best location in 3 on the Bund. The architecture design of this gallery itself is a highlight as well. Shanghai Art Museum - you will see both contemporary and traditional Chinese art depending on the exhibition it hosts. Building itself once in a time was the famous Shanghai Racing Club. You can still see the SRC sign on the top of gate. |
